April Meeting

Join the Downers Grove Organic Gardeners on Wednesday, April 20 at 7 PM at the Downers Grove Public Library, 1050 Curtiss St., to hear radio host and gardening expert Mike Nowak explain how keep your lawn truly green.

Mike Nowak is host of the "Mike Nowak Show" Sundays on WCPT. Prior to that, he was host of "Let's Talk Gardening" on WGN. He knows that people love their lawns, so he preaches the gospel of organic lawn care. Most consumers are concerned about the environment when they buy lawn and garden products, and yet they are afraid of what their neighbors will think if their lawn does not look like a golf course fairway. Nowak will talk about ways to ditch the expensive chemicals and keep your lawn healthy.
